Carol Keys
Event Producer / Director

Carol Keys is an award winning producer and director whose individual talents extend to graphic artist, talent negotiator, musician and international advocate for great apes.

In other words, with Carol you have the classic Renaissance production pro who can wear ANY hat, or make the hat if necessary.

She began her career in production at the tender age of 10, by organizing a backyard circus to raise $82 for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.

During the Summer of Love, Carol was lead singer and guitar player for Fillmore West regulars, Baltimore Steam Packet, and signed to the Capitol Records label.

After her stint as a rock star, Carol began her 25 year career designing, producing and directing award winning events and interactive media for top corporations worldwide.

Carol’s “other” life satisfies her lifelong dedication to primatology, working with great apes both in the US and the range countries in Africa where she has founded a primate conservation and welfare organization, the Pan African Sanctuary Alliance.

Carol is a hands-on leader with first hand knowledge of all aspects of design and production.  She has a great sense of humor and a legendary reputation for calm and clarity under pressure.  Carol is skilled in managing all aspects of production, budget development and maintenance, and contract negotiation with outside suppliers on her clients' behalf.
