Tomoko Lee was first exposed to video production while she was working at Sony in Tokyo in the late 80's. Eager to see the world, Tomoko left the company and her home country in the early 90's in order to pursue her career in video.
Her path took her from Japanese to U.S. production, becoming a valuable bridge between the countries at a time when California was becoming a favored production destination for Japanese television. Ultimately Tomoko was wooed to Total Media Group, where we literally created a position just to secure her talents. Her first major mark with TMG was to take a defunct video production facility in San Carlos, and turn it into a profitable facility of four edit suites, acquisition department and soundstage. Today, she is a victim of her own success by serving as the General Manager of our South San Francisco facility, and doing so in her usual exemplary manner.
